Collaboration events play a huge part in the collaboration and messaging arena. Despite the enablement of remote working and dispersed teams, sometimes you can’t find better than a good old-fashioned get together.
Below is a list of key collaboration events in the calendar where Mio will be either exhibiting or attending.
Kicking things off
Collaboration SVET February 24th — 28th
This intimate Cisco events kicks off our collaboration events list for 2019 in style. Bringing the Cisco community together, partners will benefit from hands-on demonstrations of the latest Cisco-related innovations.
Based in San Diego, Collaboration SVET will see Mio VP of Product, Jacob Rossand Director of Customer Sucess, Frank Geck showcasing our Cisco Webex Teams <> Slack interoperability during the Monday night reception.

Enterprise Connect March 18th — 21st
Enterprise Connect runs yearly in Orlando, Florida. Over 4 days, the conference will be packed full of communication and collaboration insights and thought leadership.
Mio is especially excited about Enterprise Connect this year as we have been nominated as a finalist in the Best of Enterprise Connect. Keep an eye on the Dispatch blog for more news on this. Mio will be located at booth 2314 so swing by and say hi.

Cisco Connect Houston April 2nd
The Cisco Connect series runs across the US through the year. Our local Cisco Connect is in Houston, Texas. Cisco Connect offers leadership on Cisco’s strategic direction and partnerships direct from Cisco executives and provides latest and upcoming product releases insights.

Slack Frontiers April 21st — 23rd
Slack’s annual conference this year features what will no doubt be a mega-inspiring keynote from Serena Williams. Outside of sports stardom, expect seminars on the future of work, driving agility in the workforce and potentially some insights into their long-awaited IPO.
This year’s conference is aligned to three tracks:
- Pathfinder: for business leaders looking to utilize Slack to drive a more agile and strategic workforce
- Opportunity: for IT admins wanting to hear more about peer level success in introducing and getting the most out of Slack
- Curiosity: aimed at developers looking for hands-on Slack demos and scenarios to better their own Slack environments

UC Expo May 15th — 16th May
UC Expo is the UK’s premier Unified Comms exhibition. Held in London, vendors, resellers and customers get together to view and discuss the latest innovations in Unified Comms.

June and beyond
Cisco Live June 9th — 13th
The Cisco Live series is Cisco’s annual conference delivered to each continent. This version hits San Diego to showcase everything Cisco that can empower your business through the world of digital communications.
Cisco Live connects partners, prospects and customers to top-level Cisco executives and tailored insights and educational sessions. For those that cannot attend in-person, Cisco runs live and on-demand sessions via the Cisco Live site.
